On this edition of The Geopolitical Report, we examine the role the establishment media and government play in formulating and disseminating war propaganda. Beginning with the Spanish-American War and the First World War, propaganda became more prevalent and sophisticated, especially after the introduction of the propaganda and public relations techniques of Edward Bernays.

President Donald Trump’s own words link the firing of James Comey as FBI director to the Bureau’s Russia probe. That move, however, might not have been well thought out because Andrew McCabe, Comey’s deputy and temporary replacement, could have unique firsthand knowledge of potential ties between Trump and organized crime in the former Soviet Union.

This creates an intriguing if complex and nuanced situation that could influence Trump as he decides whether to replace McCabe as interim director.

Luke picks up the action in Italy, off the coast of Sicily, following a group called Génération Identitaire. Luke is live streaming their boat from a separate vessel and Lauren Southern is on the boat with the group.

Local time 22:12 – They have lit flares and are making an effort to stop a large migrant boat. The coastguard is present.

In this video, Luke looks back through decades of U.S. foreign policy and a familiar pattern of foul play in the theater of war is seen. With the U.S. repeating similar insanity that seems geared more towards unending war, than the stated outcome. Is it a coincidence that Henry Kissinger was an instrumental influence in the Vietnam quagmire and now rears his ugly head in the White House as the Syria situation gets worse by the day?

The big story as I write is that President Donald Trump has, via tweet, implicitly threatened former Federal Bureau of Investigation Director James Comey, suggesting that he has tapes of Comey stating that Trump was not under investigation by the FBI.

It strikes me that this is typical of Trump tactics designed to keep his political base on board and to keep people distracted from the core of the Trump-Russia investigation.

In this week’s edition of Mind Hack, Jeff DeRiso discusses an effort by the Army to train their autonomous combat robots to better recognize targets.  He also talks about DARPA’s Targeted Neuroplasticity Training program, and the effort to digitally “upload” skills to the brain.  Also, a sinister-sounding invention by a mysterious inventor, and an approach to treating depression using fMRI feedback.

Recently Donald Trump made a uge geopolitical move that’s pissed off a very powerful and influential member of NATO- Turkey. By aligning with one of Turkey’s enemies- the Kurds, and deciding to give them heavy weapons.
This move will not only shake up Syria, but also the middle east

On March 24, President Trump signed an executive order to forge ahead with the Keystone XL oil pipeline that had been scotched by Obama in 2015. This is the deal to send tons of dirty tar sands Koched-up oil from Canada across 1,200 miles of the US to Gulf Coast refineries.

Back in January, we compiled a list of some of our favorite Donald Trump tweets, pointing out the unique manner in which the president chooses to express himself to the world.

A lot has happened since then, and now that we’ve past the 100 days mark, we thought it would be good to once again review and recap the president’s Twitter usage.
