Synagogue member charged with arson following fire at place of worship in North York | Durham Radio News

A man is facing charges after a case of arson at a North York synagogue.

Toronto police were called about a fire near Bathurst Street and Wilson Avenue around 9:50 a.m. Thursday.

Officers say a man went to the synagogue, used his key to get inside and set a fire before fleeing.

Police say the man is actually a synagogue member.

Avrom Babrowsky, 67, of Toronto was arrested Friday and charged with arson- disregard for human life.

Anyone with information can call police at 416-808-3200 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-8477 (TIPS).

Les élections européennes servent à montrer que l'Union européenne est démocratique puisqu'elle organise des élections. Bien sûr, ce Parlement n'a pas du tout les attributs des parlements nationaux. Dans la réalité, il ne sert presque à rien… sauf à être élu. Il coûtera durant sa mandature 15 milliards d'euros, non compris le prix de l'élection.
