Omar Mateen killed 49 and wounded 58 patrons of Orlando’s Pulse nightclub in the early morning hours of June 12, 2016. He was shot and killed by police following a standoff.

In light of President Donald Trump’s meeting with the Saudi crown prince Tuesday, it bears remembering that the Saudi royal family has documented ties to the 9/11 hijackers.

The United States spends a staggering amount of money each year on a military unrivaled in history. But twice already during this century, its enemies — with apparent ease and tiny budgets — have succeeded in showing that the US is much more fragile and vulnerable than people think. And that should worry Americans and their allies alike.

It’s been nearly 17 years since hijacked airplanes crashed into the World Trade Center and Pentagon, killing nearly 3,000 people. It’s been 15 years since Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, one of the alleged 9/11 planners, was captured in Pakistan. And it’s been 10 years since he was arraigned in a military court in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba. Yet Mohammed, whom the government characterizes as the “mastermind” of that horrific attack, has yet to stand trial.

While the 2011 plague thriller Contagion did benefit from military support it is perhaps more important for the big screen debut of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This lesser-known government agency recently released nearly 1000 pages of internal documents on their role in supporting the movie, as well as their PR efforts exploiting its release.

Following the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962, President Kennedy announced he would ban the testing of nuclear weapons. He called for an end to the Cold War and the removal of troops from South Vietnam. Kennedy also put an end to the Pentagon's plan to invade Cuba and refused to provide air support for the Bay of Pigs invasion. It was the last straw when he forced the resignation of Allen Dulles, the director of the CIA. The National Security State said Kennedy had to go. They said he was a threat to national security.

I recently obtained a copy of the notorious 2004 CIA recruitment video featuring Alias star Jennifer Garner. This is not available anywhere else online, and the CIA did not release it in response to my FOIA request (they claimed to be unable to find a copy). Basically, after a lot of screwing around I managed to download a version from an archive of the page on the CIA's web site.

Senator Rand Paul condemned adding the Balkan nation Montenegro to NATO in an epic speech on the House floor earlier this week. Paul introduced an Amendment 199 and proclaimed, “they want to rubber stamp, they want no debates, and they want to send your kids to war with no debate,” speaking about his fellow constituents.

Two weeks ago in the Senate, John McCain accused Paul of working for Russian President Vladimir Putin when the Kentucky Senator objected to adding Montenegro to the NATO alliance.

Julian of The Mind Renewed invited me back onto his show to discuss the link between false flag terrorism and training exercises.
