President Donald Trump has scored a win with the raid that killed Islamic State leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi and has been keen to keep the news flowing.

Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, the secretive Islamic State leader, died during a US raid in northeastern Syria last night, President Donald Trump announced on Sunday morning. Baghdadi, who proclaimed himself leader of the Muslim world (Caliph) in 2014, reportedly blew himself up with a suicide vest when cornered by US forces.

The hacker collective Anonymous announced Tuesday morning that it has brought down thousands of Twitter accounts associated with ISIS.

Following the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday, Anonymous declared war on ISIS and said it would launch its biggest operation ever against the Islamic State.
