The prosecution in the Assange extradition trial has falsely alleged that WikiLeaks recklessly published unredacted files in 2011 which endangered people’s lives.

One thing we’ve learned from the Trump Presidency is that the “deep state” is not just some crazy conspiracy theory. For the past three years we’ve seen that deep state launch plot after plot to overturn the election.

It all started with former CIA director John Brennan’s phony “Intelligence Assessment” of Russian involvement in the 2016 election. It was claimed that all 17 US intelligence agencies agreed that Putin put Trump in office, but we found out later that the report was cooked up by a handful of Brennan’s hand-picked agents.

If the legal battle over a controversial pipeline project in the mid-Atlantic were a boxing match, the referee might have stopped it a long time ago. That’s because every round so far has been won by environmental advocates who are opposed to the construction of the Atlantic Coast Pipeline (ACP), and concerned about the impact of a laying pipeline in an environmentally sensitive, steep-forested terrain that includes the iconic Appalachian Trail. 

Dr. Barbara Ziv the forensic psychologist who played a key role in the conviction of Harvey Weinstein by testifying as a witness in his trial was recently hospitalized after being hit by a car.

Not much is known about her condition or the circumstances of the incident aside from the fact that she was hit by a car while crossing the street and is in the hospital with multiple broken bones.

Weeks after the 9/11 attacks, US special operations forces landed at a military site in Uzbekistan called Karshi-Khanabad, or K2. Conveniently close to Taliban and al Qaeda targets in Afghanistan, the site served as an outpost for Army, Air Force, and Marine forces from 2001 to 2005. 

Yet, while their eyes were set on one foe, the men and women who served at the Uzbek site weren’t told about another enemy right beneath their feet… the contaminated soil.
