After the Biden administration began blaming the border crisis on former President Trump leaving them with a ‘dismantled’ immigration system, Trump hit back in a Sunday statement claiming that he “proudly handed the Biden Administration the most secure border in history,” adding “All they had to do was keep this smooth-running system on autopilot.”

“We now know that the vaccines dramatically reduce your chance of both contracting COVID and becoming symptomatic to the point where you are going to have a bad outcome; we also know it reduces asymptomatic disease and reduces transmission… we are seeing that in the data.“

For nearly a week, tens of thousands of people have flocked to Spring Break in Miami as many overlook the Mayor’s COVID warnings.

On Saturday night, Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber declared a state of emergency and enforced a new curfew as spring break crowds overwhelmed local law enforcement.

A New York Supreme Court Judge last week excoriated the New York Times used “reckless disregard” and “acted with actual malice” when two of their reporters deceptively presented opinions as fact in several articles denigrating whistleblower organization Project Veritas.

What the Times did, as you’ll see below, is similar to countless hit-pieces against Zero Hedge and others; using broad, unsupported brush strokes to slander their ideological opponents. We can only hope this sets new precedent for future defamation cases.

Following a deadly surge in COVID-19 cases, Los Angeles County is getting a welcomed break from a punishing death rate and strict stay at home orders. 

Reading Time: < 1minute Republican attorneys general want states to be able to pay for tax cuts with some of the $350 billion dedicated for local governments under the stimulus plan. Democrats in Congress forbid this to make sure the money goes for pandemic relief.

The CDC has just released the second major shift in its federal COVID-19 guidelines (following its declaration that “fully vaccinated” individuals can ignore masks requirements and other social distancing measures while visiting with friends and family in private). In an update released Friday, the CDC said K-12 students in schools that practice “universal masking” can safely sit three feet apart, instead of six feet apart.

The COVID-19 pandemic and the race for a vaccine have opened up long-festering questions about medical consent, transparency, and the role of race in today’s strained health care system. 

The idea of informed medical consent has long been a fundamental principle of medical ethics. However, the ways in which that consent is obtained, especially from minority groups, have been uneven and sometimes criminal. 

Arlington, VA, has fallen behind surrounding counties in efforts to deliver COVID-19 vaccines to each resident. Statewide, 21.3 percent of Virginia’s population has received at least one dose of a vaccine. Locally, Fairfax boasts the most doses administered per 100,000 residents at 18,082.

After law-enforcement authorities in Sicily and Piedmont seized batches of the AstraZeneca COVID jab, prosecutors in the EU’s third-largest economy have launched a manslaughter investigation after a music teacher died just hours after receiving the jab.

According to Italian-language media outlets, 57-year-old Sandro Tognatti died after receiving the jab in his hometown of Biella on Saturday afternoon. He soon developed a high fever, but went to bed anyway, he his wife, Simona Riussi, told the Italian press.

With 2,166,290 government-confirmed cases, 194,710 confirmed deaths as of March 15, and the third-highest death toll (behind the US and Brazil), Mexico is one of the deadliest coronavirus hotspots in the world.

In a recent radio interview, Wisconsin Sen.
