While Congress is increasingly putting pressure on Big Tech giants such as Facebook and Twitter to combat disinformation and fake news on their pages, some lawmakers, such as Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA), have published their own “news” websites filled with self-serving disinformation.

WhoWhatWhy features new artwork on the top of the front page each day to promote and illustrate the most important stories we publish. These “panoramas” are replaced every 24 hours. That’s a shame because a lot of work goes into them and they are true works of art.

As part of our series reviewing WhoWhatWhy’s work this year, below are some of our favorite panoramas from 2018.

Formal debate, science, and law all flowed from that source.

A common bond existed in some schools of the day. The student was expected to learn how Reason operates, and for that he was taught the only subject which could lay out, as on a long table, the visible principles: Logic.

This was accepted.

But now, this bond is gone.

Parmi mes vœux, je ne peux m'empêcher de songer au meilleur d'entre eux : le concept de Dieu.
