Mes collègues de l’Institut de Prévision de l’Économie de l’Académie des Sciences (en russe INP-RAN) avec qui le CEMI organise depuis 1991 le séminaire Franco-Russe sur le développement de la Russie, viennent de publier simultanément un très gros document (296 pages) sur le potentiel de croissance de la Russie[1], document qui a mobilisé la quasi-totalité des chercheurs de l’INP-RAN, et une analyse des tendances du PIB russe pour le 2ème semestre 2022[2]. Ce dernier texte a été produit par l’équipe de mon collègue et ami Alexandre Shirov.

A man with a rifle walked into an Indiana mall and opened fire in a food court Sunday evening. A law-abiding citizen with a permit to carry a handgun responded in seconds and was able to shoot and kill the suspect, ending the rampage.

In a press conference dripping with a mix of exasperation and dry-witted sarcasm, two officials at one of the largest hospital systems in Southern California threw a bucket of cold water on media and government efforts to whip the public into a state of fear over the latest Covid-19 uptick.
