The use of “could be,” “may be,” “possible,” and other bloviations to suggest breakthroughs are right around the corner.

Evidence is beginning to emerge showing the recent massive drone attack on Russia’s Khmeimim Airbase in the Syrian province of Latakia and a similar attack on its maritime facility located in Tartus is the work of the CIA. Russia insists it is impossible to develop such drones in an improvised manner. The Washington Post would have you believe that “Democracy Dies in Darkness,” which is the slogan the paper adopted following the election of Donald Trump. It sounds nice but, with all due respect, it’s complete nonsense. US democracy isn’t dying in darkness, it’s been getting slaughtered in broad daylight — and not enough is being done to stop this from happening.
